Three women held in Nongstoin for prostitution

NONGSTOIN: Three persons identified as Dari Lyngkhoi (30) of Pyndengrei, Piarlina Sohshang (23) of Khlieh Iew Nongstoin and Useful Paliar (23) of Mariam in West Khasi Hills District were apprehended by the Village Defense Party (VDP) New Nongstoin on charges of being involved in flesh trade.
Kynjai Thongni, publicity secretary, VDP New Nongstoin, informed that the VDP had been tracking the three women for months after which they were apprehended.
All the three women had confessed to being involved in the profession for several years now.
