Fake varsity culprits in Shillong, to be produced in court today

SHILLONG: Two persons, arrested on charges of running a fake Techno Global University website, will be produced before the court here on Saturday.
According to police, the duo was a couple named Sanjeev Kumar (36) and his wife Pooja Srivastava (32). Both hail from Patna. They had been accused of creating a fake website under the name of www.technoglobaluniversity.org through which they offered admissions and also issued mark sheets.
Two laptops, seals, hologram, a letter head of Techno Global University along with provisional certificates, blank marksheets of CMJ and Rs. 17 lakh in cash were also seized from them.
