SHILLONG: TNT Sputnik defeated United XI by 6 runs in an inconsequential last league match of the Super Division Shillong Cricket League 2015 organised by the Shillong Cricket Association at the SCA Cricket Ground, Polo.
TNT Sputnik won the toss an to elected to bat first. They scored 228/8 in the allotted 40 overs which including 10 penalty runs for slow overrate by United XI.
In reply, United Xl score 222 all out in 39.4overs. Mark Ingty scored 50 runs off 76 balls and Andrew Thabah scored 33 runs off 44 balls.
This defeat did not matter for United XI as they have already qualified for the finals.
