Mercy Chand Daimari, Associate Professor, Union Christian College, has been awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) by NEHU, for her thesis ‘Livelihood Pattern in Ri Bhoi District of Meghalaya’ under the supervision of Prof. Surendra Singh, Department of Geography, NEHU. She is the daughter of Prof. C. Singh and (L) M. Singh and wife of Dr. Tripti Chand Daimari
