ICFAI University Meghalaya, Shillong Campus, organised a talk on Data Mining and its Applicability in other disciplines, delivered by Dr Anjan Das, Director and Associate Professor, Computer Science Department, St. Anthony’s College, Shillong. The programme was initiated by IT/Management Department of ICFAI University, and was attended by both IT and Management faculty members and students of the University.

Unclaimed body

An unidentified body appearing to be that of a non tribal was recovered from Polo Market on March 10. The body has been kept at the Shillong Civil Hospital morgue for identification.

BSF programme

BSF organized a civic action programme and free medical camp at village Baskona (Kuliang) in East Jaintia Hills District on Friday. Sports and other miscellaneous items were distributed to the villagers. More than 250 patients were examined by medical officer and the needy ones were given medicines.

Meeting

An emergency executive meeting of the Shillong Cantonment Board Pensioner’s Union will be held on March 14 at 3 pm at the Union’s office at Pala Complex, Last Stop, Shillong.
