Shillong: Sales XI defeated NEHU by 32 runs in the Inter Office cum Corporate Cricket League 2015 organised by the Shillong Cricket Association at the SCA Cricket Ground, Polo.
Electing to bat first, Sales XI scored 128 losing 8 wickets in 20 overs. Swaroop Dey top scored with 43 runs off 39 balls. Biswajit Das Gupta and Manik Das bagged 3 wickets each for NEHU. In reply, NEHU were all out for 91 runs in 18.1 overs. Kamal Jeet top scored with 26 runs off 20 balls. Swaroop Dey and Manojeet Ghosh claimed 3 wickets each for Sales XI.
In the second match Executive XI defeated Shillong Traffic Police by 8 runs. Executive XI chose to bat and scored 108 for 9 wickets in 20 overs. Kalyan Bhattacharjee top scored with 40 runs off 43 balls. Shanborlang Kharmih took 3 wickets for 11 runs for Executive XI. In reply, STP could only score 100 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs. Pawan Chettri top scored with 36 runs off 43 balls. Purojit Mondal and Sukdev Singh took 1 wicket each for executive XI.
