Victory for 6th MLP and St. Edmund’s Teachers

Shillong: 6th MLP defeated Meghalaya Secretariat by 98 runs in the Inter Office Cricket League, organised by the Shillong Cricket Association at the SCA Cricket Ground, Polo.  6th MLP chose to bat and they scored 145 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. Sameer Quereshi top scored with 27 runs off 16 balls. While Lumlang Thabah and Ruby Pathaw bagged 2 wickets each for Meghalaya Secretariat. In reply, Meghalaya Seretariat were dismissed for 47 runs in 13.1 overs. Haobeit Nongrum scored 11 runs off 15 balls. While Kumar Sewa was the pick of the bowlers claiming 3 wickets for 12 runs
In the second match of the day, St. Edmunds Teachers defeated MeECL by 6 wickets. Electing to bat MeECL scored 109 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs. Arbinius Syiemiong top scored with 23 runs off 16 balls. While Barry Rymbai and Teddy Kharshandi took 2 wickets each for St. Edmund’s Teachers. In reply, St. Edmunds reached the target in 19.4 overs losing 4 wickets. Allanson Wahlang top scored with 32 runs off 18 balls. While Sandy Swer claim 2 wickets for 24 runs.
