1 Swine flu patient in Mizoram cured, another recovering

AIZAWL:A non-tribal from Delhi, found to be infected with swine flu and treated in Mizoram, was discharged and flown home today.
Dr Pachuau Lalmalsawma, Nodal Officer of the state Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP) said that the patient, earlier treated at the ICU of the Aizawl Civil Hospital and later shifted to an isolation ward, specially prepared for swine flu patients at the Referral Hospital in Falkawn near Aizawl, was completely cured.
“He was transported to the Lengpui Airport near Aizawl by an ambulance and sent home by a flight,” he said, adding,another patient in the Referral Hospital was improving and most likely to be discharged soon. (PTI)
