Anil Ambani to start Clean India initiative at Kamakhya

Guwahati: Chairman of Reliance Group, Anil Ambani, along with his wife Tina Ambai and mother Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani on Saturday visited the famous Shaktipeeth of Kamakhya temple in Guwahati.
During his meeting with chief minister, Anil assured help from his side in beautification of temple dedicated to Goddess Durga.
The industrialist during his visit to the shrine Kamakhya pledged soon to initiate a programme under Prime  Minister’s Swachh Bharat campaign at the famous shrine.
Accompanied by his wife Tina, Ambani performed ‘parikrama’ at the temple. Temple priests performed Chandi Puja and the family also offered Kanya puja.
The Temple management board requested him to help the temple in some way after which Anil Ambani offered to take care of the cleanliness at the temple under the Swachh Bharat programme.
Anil Ambani also met Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi.
Later during a meeting, Ambani promised to help beautification of Kamakhya temple and setting up of a museum in Assam.
