Margao: Robin Singh’s second half goal helped Bengaluru FC score a 1-0 win over 10-man Salgaocar to move at the top of the table in the Hero I-League football tournament here on Saturday.
The win takes Bengaluru FC to the top with 17 points from 10 matches, two points ahead of Mohun Bagan who still have to play three more matches in the first leg.
Salgaocar, missing five of their key players due to injury and a red card, looked a depleted side. They adopted a cautious approach in the first half as they played 4-5-1 formation and did well to hold their rivals to 0-0 in the first half. (PTI)
