Rape cases
On February 28 one Aibor Tariang raped one minor girl in his house at Umsning Patarim (RB).
A woman identified as Julia Lyngdoh of 19th Mile Byrnihat (RB) lodged a complaint that in the month of Dec. 2014, one Bijon Kalwing raped a minor.
Forgery
One P.M. Sangma, DTO, East Garo Hills lodged a complaint that one Winterberth M Sangma, employee of DTO Office, Williamnagar (EGH) forged his signature and issued Registration Certificates, fitness certificates, and driving licence among others .
Pedestrians knocked down
On March 21 at around 12.30 am, one vehicle (number not known) knocked down one Shibormi Shylla (21) at Mawkhanu Shillong By-Pass Road.
NGT ban violation
On March 19 at around 11 am, Police detected and seized two coal laden trucks (AS-01-BC-9227 & ML-10A-9238) driven by Banteiskhem Kharngi and Kitbok Pyngrope at Umsning in Ri Bhoi in violation of NGT order. Police arrested the driver.
On March 19 at around 7 pm, Police detected and seized one coal laden truck (AS-01-BB-2778) driven by Md. Sahid Uddin at Khliehriat NH-44 (EJH) in violation of NGT order. Police arrested the driver.
Threat
On March 18, one Ardring Khong Dohling armed with a dao went to the residence of a woman identified as Shan Dakhraw at Sohra (EKH) and threatened her with dire consequences.
Assault
On March 16 at around 4.30 pm, one Ket Nongtdu assaulted one Brightstar Nongtdu at Ksehlangrang (EJH) and also pelted stones at his (complainant) vehicle (ML-04B-6462).
