SHILLONG: The Garo Students Union, Khasi Hills Zone has urged the GNLA to call off the ongoing indefinite bandh in Ampati.
The GSU said that the bandh is affecting the normal life of people, especially students who are appearing for their Board examinations.
The GSU further said that many parents are not being able to send money to their wards studying in Shillong and other places since the banks are closed in the area.
