Executive XI, Shillong Traffic Police win

SHILLONG: Executive XI defeated Horticulture by 9 runs in the Inter Office cum Corporate Cricket League 2015 organised by the Shillong Cricket Association at the SCA Cricket Ground, Polo.
Being put into bat first Executive XI scored 136 runs for 4 wickets in 20 overs. Purojit Mondal top scored with 69 runs off 65 balls and Kalyan Bhattacharjee scored 31 runs off 42 balls.
In reply, Md. Kitabuddin’s 72 runs off 52 balls couldn’t save Horticulture from winning  as they could manage only 127 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs.
In another all round performance by Wallambok Nongkhlaw (3 wickets for 33  runs and an unbeaten 56 runs off 52 balls), helped Shillong Traffic Police beat MeECL by 6 wickets.  Electing to bat first, MeECL scored 105 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. Johny John Lyngdoh topscored with 26 runs off 39 balls.
In reply, STP reached the target score of 107 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 16.1 overs. Bikash Gurung scored 14 runs off 14 balls.
