DC lodges complaint

SHILLONG: East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner Sanjay Goyal has lodged a complaint with the police against the attempts by some youths, who claimed to be KSU members, to close down the facilitation centre meant for verification of voters.
In the complaint lodged on Wednesday, the Deputy Commissioner said that on March 23 at  around 11 am, around 50 boys barged into the DC’s Office, and attempted to close down the Public Facilitation Centre.
“Again, on March 24 at around 11 am, the same boys claiming to be KSU members went to DC’s Office and started chasing away the public standing in queue at the Facilitating Centre for different purposes and forcibly suspended the ongoing hearing on election claims”.
