Ed Sheeran splits from girlfriend

Singer Ed Sheeran has split from his foodie girlfriend Athina Andrelos following rumours that they had been heard arguing at last month’s BRIT Awards. The Thinking Out Loud hitmaker confirmed the couple have parted ways after they had been experiencing difficulties. When he was questioned on his relationship status during an interview on Australian breakfast radio show The Kyle and Jackie O Show on KIIS 1065, he said, “I wasn’t single, I was in a relationship for a long time.” Pressing him on the subject DJ Kyle Sandilands asked the 24-year-old star if he’s single now, to which he admitted, “Yes.” The 24-year-old multi-million selling artist began dating the foodie – who works for celebrity chef Jamie Oliver – last year, and despite arguments there had been speculation they were planning on moving in together. Styles may leave One Direction too

One Direction star Harry Styles is reportedly be the next member to quit One Direction. While the band members around the world still cannot come to terms with Zayn Malik’s departure, a new report has surfaced claiming that Styles may be exiting the band too to become an actor, according to E!Online. “Harry has told his friends that the wants to get into acting. He loves Los Angeles,” a source said The online site also mentioned the 21-year-old heartthrob had worked on some solo project with several big names in music. “He’s been writing with other artists like Meghan Trainor, Kodaline and Ariana Grande,” the source continued. After taking a break from One Directions’ tour due to “stress,” Zayn announced he left the band in a statement posted on Facebook. (PTI)

Ex Spice Girl Geri supports Zayn’s exit

Former Spice Girls member Geri Halliwell has offered support to Zyan Malik, after his sudden exit from One Direction, saying that it reminded her of her own untimely exit from her band.Halliwell took to Twitter, and posted a cryptic tweet after Malik’s exit, saying that, “Hello, thinking of you. Hope whatever is going on in your life it’s going well. X”, E! Online reported.The tweet may be an indication that she was giving him lessons on how to deal with sound of millions of hearts breaking.Halliwell’s exit from the British band group had left the world shattered, and people experienced the same trauma upon Malik’s exit from One Direction. Amanda Seyfried has stage fright

Actress Amanda Seyfried has always been “scared s**tless” about performing on stage, but she finally feels that she’s ready to make her theatre debut.The Les Miserables  star is set to make her off-Broadway debut in The Way We Get By opposite Thomas Sadoski, and though she has auditioned in the past, she has always been wary of working in theatre, reports a website.”I always wanted to be up there. I wanted to do something else last year that ended up not happening. It was one of those things I kept putting off because I was scared s**tless.”I never really felt ready for it until now. This is for me,” Seyfried said on Entertainment Tonight.With just over a month before the play previews, the 29-year-old beauty is still not over her fears of the stage.”It makes me nervous to even think about it,” she said.Though she has sung and danced in movies Les Miserables and Mamma Mia!, Seyfried insists she wouldn’t be disciplined enough for musical theatre.”Ugh, no, I can’t live like a singer. I love to sing, but not for work. Unless it’s a movie where you can put it all down in the recording studio and then forget about it,” Seyfried said. (IANS)
