SHILLONG: 6th MLP defeated Shillong Traffic Police by 3 runs in the Inter Office cum Corporate Cricket League 2015 organised by the Shillong Cricket Association at the SCA Cricket Ground, Polo, on Thursday.
6th MLP elected to bat first and scored 104 runs losing 8 wickets in 20 overs. Khamborlang Nongkynrih remained unbeaten on 42 runs off 57 balls. Steve Syiemlieh took 4 wickets for 20 runs for STP.
In reply, Shillong Traffic Police batted well but Selvin K. Sangma destroyed them by taking 4 wickets for 24 runs. Wanlambok Nongkhlaw top scored for STP with 25 runs off 28 balls
Wanlambok Nongkhlaw won the man of the tournament award while Selvin K Sangma won the man of the match award.
