Lok Adalats
The District Legal Service Authority, West Khasi Hills will hold the National Lok Adalat at the Office of the District and Sessions Judge, Nongstoin from 10 AM onwards on April 11.
The District & Sessions Judge, Ri Bhoi, in collaboration with the Meghalaya State Legal Service Authority will organize a “Monthly National Lok Adalat” for labour and family cases at the office of the District & Sessions Judge, Nongpoh from 10:30 AM onwards on April 11.
Doctor’s visit
Dwar Jingkyrmen will host Dr. Andrew L.M Curran, a Paediatric Neurologist from Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, Liverpool, UK on April 10 and 11. Curran has 29 publications, 64 published abstracts and 88 presentations in scientific meetings to his name. He will address the professionals in the field of disabilities on Friday and those in the field of medicine on Saturday.
Condolence
The KHNAM Youth Wing has expressed profound grief at the sudden demise of former Laitkroh MDC and party vice president Carmel Sohtun who expired on April 6. The party also sent its condolence to the relatives and family members of the former MDC.
