Nagaland AYO condemns bomb blasts in Kohima

Kohima: The Angami Youth Organisation (AYO) on Saturday condemned the bomb blasts at Lerie here in which three people were injured on Friday.
In a statement, AYO vice-president Kekhrievolie Keyho and general secretary Rokoketou Sechu said firing and bombing in civilian areas is a ‘terrorist culture’, alien to all peace loving society.
Such violence would not be tolerated, they said and appealed to the law enforcing agencies to contain the intent of such destructive nature immediately.
Affirming that it was fully prepared to stand against the perpetrators, AYO said it would not hesitate to take its own course of action.
Reminding the district authority of series of incidents in the Kohima firing at Assam Rifles personnel near I G Stadium; murder of Tepumecie Lcho of Viswema, whose body was found at New Capital Complex,.
This incident was followed by consecutive bomb blast at Lerie Colony, AYO said.
He also confirmed that  the situation warrants serious and an in-depth  analysis and prompt action from the competent authority to nab the perpetrators as soon as possible. (UNI)
