Rain forecast for next two days

SHILLONG: The rain accompanied by winds for the last two days has brought down the temperature in city, which otherwise was witnessing varied weather conditions. The rain forced the residents to be indoors.
The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted that Shillong would witness thunderstorm with rain on Sunday and Monday followed by generally cloudy sky with possibility of rain or thunderstorm on Tuesday.
The temperature during the next few days is expected to be between 23’c to 12’c
It is also predicted that thunder squall with wind speed exceeding 60 kmph accompanied with hail would occur at isolated places over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura during next 24 hours.
Heavy rain would occur at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya on April 18, 21  and 22  and over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram  and Tripura on  April 21 and 22.
As per the available data of North East on Saturday, moderate to rather heavy rain occurred at most places along with heavy falls at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh; light to moderate rain occurred at most places along with rather heavy falls at isolated places over Assam and  Meghalaya; very light rain occurred at isolated places over Nagaland and dry weather prevailed over rest of the region during last 24 hrs.
