Wilde had begged director for lead role

Olivia Wilde has     revealed that she     had begged first time director Reed Morano for lead role in upcoming flick Meadowland.
The 31-year-old actress, who’ll be playing the role of Sarah, a mother, who along with her husband spiral downward after losing their son.
She said that that she knew that was a demand for the role, and had requested Morano to prove herself to her by performing some scenes at her apartment, repoted a website.
Morano, who as an extensive resume as a DP, said that she wanted someone who was new to such role before.
He had held the film when Wilde was expecting her first child, after which Wilde had boarded as a producer. (ANI)
