Jaipur: Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje on Friday appeared to avoid a direct answer to a question about the possibility of her visit to the family of farmer Gajendra Singh who had committed suicide in Delhi.
“It has come in newspapers… that what is the issue… you know it?” Raje said when she was asked by a reporter that “will she go to Dausa?” Raje was reviewing the arrangement of the party president Amit Shah’s proposed rally at Amroodon Ka Bag here. PCC President Sachin Pilot attacked the Chief Minister saying her remarks show ‘insensitivity and arrogance’ of the state government.
“This shows arrogance and insensitivity of the government over the issue of farmers. Instead of Shah’s rally, the party and the government should have spent money for farmers welfare,” pilot said. (PTI)
