Dumping, stockpiling of coal prohibited in Ri Bhoi

NONGPOH: The District Magistrate, Ri Bhoi on Saturday imposed Section 144 CrPC prohibiting dumping and stockpiling of coal on the road side along the National Highway -40, Shillong By-Pass road and other roads within the district.
The order has been issued after reports of dumping of coal on the roadside along NH-40 and other roads of Ri Bhoi came to fore.
