Farmer’s interaction programme

NONGSTOIN: To encourage the farmers of West Khasi Hills, the Office of the District Agriculture Officer, Nongstoin conducted the West Khasi Hills farmer’s interaction programme on the theme “cropping system based training”. The training was funded under the National Food Security Mission and was organized at Horti-hub, Nongstoin.
The main purpose of the training was to reach out to the farmers, build relationship with them and be acquainted with their agricultural and allied activities. The end purpose of the whole exercise is to accelerate agricultural production and allied activities for improvement of the economy of farmers.
