NDFB-S, MULTA ultras held in Assam

Guwahati: Security forces apprehended one NDFB-S militants and two militants belonging to Muslim United Liberation Tiger of Assam (MULTA) in two separate operations conducted in Kokrajhar and Dhubri on Friday.
He has been identified as Jwngdao Basumatary who has been operating with the outfit for the last one and half years.  One 9mm factory-made pistol, one magazine and three rounds of 9mm ammunition were recovered from his possession during the operation. In another operation Army and Police apprehended two  MULTA terrorists from Fakirganj in Dhubri. Both the  terrorists are involved in kidnapping and extortion activities.  Two 9mm country-made pistols, live ammunition and other war like stores were recovered during the operation.
