Karachi: Discarded batsman Faisal Iqbal has been banned for four matches by the Pakistan Cricket Board for showing indiscipline during the Pentangular Cup one-day tournament held here earlier this year.
Faisal, who has played 26 Tests and 18 ODIs, will miss the upcoming national super eights T20 event in Faisalabad as a result of the ban.
“Faisal has been banned on recommendation of the disciplinary committee where he walked out of the dressing room and returned home from the national stadium after he was dropped for a match by coach Tauseef Ahmed,” one board official said. (PTI)
