Evadahunlin Mary Pala has been awarded the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Zoology by Gauhati University for her thesis “Histological, ultra-structural and elemental analysis of certain tissues of Channa gachua (Hamilton-Buchanan) inhabiting the river Umkhrah, Meghalaya, under the joint supervision of Prof. A. Borkotoki, Dept. of Zoology, Gauhati University and Dr. S. Dey, S.A.I.F, NEHU. She is teaching in Shillong College. She is the daughter of T.M. Nonghuloo and R.M. Pala and wife of B. Lyngdoh.
