I’ve no regrets over sexist lyrics: Snoop Dogg

Rapper Snoop Dogg, who is known for his controversial lyrics, says he does not regret his past lyrics because it was a result of his “training”. The 43-year-old recording artist has been accused for displaying misogyny towards women in his songs, reported Digital Spy. “Definitely, my attitude has changed towards women. I am more sensitive and more vulnerable writing-wise and accepting a woman for being a beautiful person, as opposed to me saying she is…. Because that was how I was trained when I first started, so I have no regrets,” he said. The rapper said that he changed his ways after coming to love the women in his life, saying that they have taught him to live a better life. “As I grew I fell in love with my wife and started to love my mother, my grandmother and my daughter,” he said. “I understood what a woman was and I started to write about and express that. “Once I figured out there was room to grow and learn and to be a better person, then I incorporated that in everything I was doing. I don’t feel like you can be ashamed or mad about not knowing – if you don’t know, you don’t know.” (PTI)

Lively calls Ryan Reynolds ‘hypocrite’

After Ryan Reynolds posted an Instagram picture of a man doing stunt on his bike, the Hollywood star’s wife Blake Lively called him “hypocrite”. “Don’t try this at home,” Reynolds captioned as the man held up his hands in the air while riding a BMW motorcycle down an empty street. “Particularly, in the living room,” he added. It seems Lively was not too thrilled with his post. “… Because he already tried!,” she shared online while her husband posed on another motorcycle inside their home. “@VancityReynolds just posted some great advice, but he forgot to mention one small detail. #Hypocrite.” Ohhhh, you just got called out dude!,” she added. “#I’dGive$70dollarsColdHardCashToWhoeverCouldResistHim #TooInLike,” she wrote. ‘Kanye West is a bit eccentric’, says Paul McCartney

Music legend Paul McCartney thinks rapper Kanye West is a bit eccentric. The Beatles star, who recently collaborated with the Bound 2 rapper on Only One and FourFiveSeconds, said he had no hesitation in accepting West’s offer to work together “I’m really lucky because people ring up and they say they want to work with me. I got a call saying Kanye wants to work with you. I said wow. And then I said yes. Because I’m from Liverpool and that’s what we do. Name me one person from Liverpool who would have said no to working with Kanye! “So I went and it was completely different from how I usually work. We just jammed and recorded everything that was going on. We did that for a couple of days. He’s a good fun guy to be around. A bit eccentric, but I like that,” he said. And McCartney, 72, said he was particularly taken aback after West revealed he had been inspired by “Let It Be”. (PTI)
