SHILLONG: A person lost his life and two others sustained injuries when a Mahindra Scorpio (ML05H – 4383) overturned after hitting a hillock at Ryndangbriew in Mawiong.
One Bankit Kupar L. Mawphlang (32), who was injured, was pronounced dead by the doctors at Shillong Civil Hospital.
The incident happened on September 11 at 12:22 A.M. when the vehicle was proceeding towards Shillong from Guwahati. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Shillong helped in shifting Pynkhrawlang L. Kynshi (30) and Manik Wari (30) to Shillong Civil Hospital.
