Fake license
On September 12, S.S. Syiemlieh, ADC (Elections), Shillong lodged a complaint that one Shyam Kumar Pradhan submitted a fake driving license at DC Office, East Khasi Hills.
Accident
On the evening of September 11, a Maruti local taxi (ML-05D-7228) knocked down one Bishnu Karmakar (50, M) at Upper Mawprem. Victim sustained injuries and was removed to Woodland Hospital.
Thieves apprehended
On September 11 at around 3 am, residents of Pynthorbah Block-II, Shillong apprehended one Nabin Biswa along with a juvenile while they were stealing two mobile phones and a pen-drive from the house of Theilin Malngiang in the locality. Police arrested the accused and apprehended the juvenile.
