Malki suffer 0-2 defeat

Shillong: Malki suffered a 2-0 defeat to Nangkiew Irat after an early goal by Stephen Harry in the opening minute in a Shillong Premier League match on Tuesday. Nangkiew Irat put up a clinical performance as they initiated a quick lead before following it up with another on the other half of the match.
Malki pushed for an equaliser in the second half as they attempted to capitalise on several counter attacks but Nangkiew played the off side trap well to avoid conceding any goals. Jefferson made it 2-0 for Nangkiew Irat in the 58th minute, scoring an open goal.
Nangkiew Irat held the last thirty minutes well before successfully completing a 2-0 win. Nongkseh registered a comfortable 3-0 victory over Jongksha in a Second Division match at Polo Grounds. Boney Lyngdoh put Nongkseh in the lead with a 48th minute strike before Donbor Lyngdoh added a second in the 60th minute. Arjun Iawphniaw scored Nongkseh’s third goal in the 89th minute.
In Third Division, Mylliem and Tynring drew 0-0. In another match, Sawmer blasted five goals past Umphyrnai for a thumping victory.
