GNLA cadre arrested in Tura, arms recovered

TURA: A suspected GNLA cadre identified as Ambath Ch Marak (21) was arrested from Tura’s Dakopgre locality on Wednesday night leading to the recovery of four demand notes of the outfit addressed to government officials.
Following his interrogation police came to know about the presence of another cadre identified as Sengsan R Marak alias Asong. During the raid on Sengsan’s house in the town police recovered a 7.65 pistol with three live rounds but were unable to catch the accused that had already fled ahead of the arrival of police.
