SHILLONG: In separate incidents, two teenage girls were allegedly raped in Ri Bhoi district recently. One of the rapes repotedly took place in a car and another in a hotel.
According to Police reports, the incidents happened on September 14, at around 10 pm, when Pynshai Syiemsad (20) of 19th Mile Ri Bhoi and Ronaldo Janang of Umling took two girls, one (15) from 14th Mile, Assam and the other (16) from 15th Mile, Borbhuin in a Maruti car (number not known) to Umling where Pynshai Syiemsad raped the sixteen year old girl while Ronaldo took the fifteen year old girl to a hotel and raped her.
