On September 15 at around 9 pm, one truck (PB-AB-03Z-9869) driven by Ronjit Singh dashed against another truck (WB-65B-0840) from the rear at Umling (RB) and in a chain reaction, truck (WB-65B-0840) dashed against truck (ML-10A-7477) driven by Phidalis Wahlang and (ML-04B-0457) driven by Runuki Rahuit. In the incident, drivers of trucks (PB-AB-03Z-9869) and (ML-04B-0457) sustained injuries and were shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong.
Again on the same night at about 10 pm, one truck (ML-06-2611) driven by S. Tariang (23 yrs) collided head on with another truck (AS-01U-0172) driven by Md. Ajad Hussain (21 yrs) at Umran Ri Bhoi. In the incident, drivers of both trucks and one handyman Vico Sanni (28 yrs) sustained injuries and were admitted at Civil Hospital Shillong.
