SHILLONG: Police picked up 16 persons including three females from Golf Link on September 15 for consuming alcohol and creating nuisance at public place.
All the 16 were sent to Civil Hospital for medical examination and non FIR Case under section 110 of Meghalaya Police Act was registered against them. The Court of Judicial Magistrate on September 16 convicted them with a fine of Rs 5000 each.
