Baby girl abandoned

SHILLONG: In yet another case of abandoning of infants, a baby girl was found left unattended at Umkdait, Nongmynsong on Saturday morning.
According to police, the one-week-old girl was removed to Ganesh Das Hospital for treatment. Last month another abandoned baby was recovered from Harisava, Laban. Earlier, a few cases were reported from West Garo Hills and police had arrested the parents in one such case.
