English-Irish band One     Direction may  reportedly perform their last show at the Super Bowl, the annual championship game of the National Football League (NFL).
Bruno Mars and Coldplay will also be among the performers, reports mirror.co.uk.
The “Night changes” hitmakers announced they would be going on an extended hiatus next year and a source has now claimed the group may join the line-up for the half-time show during the game, with a performance which will act as a ‘farewell’ to their fans.
“NFL bosses want a superstar line-up and One Direction are very much in the mix. They want a pop and rock mash-up and it is thought that Coldplay and Bruno Mars are in talks too,” Daily Star Sunday newspaper quoted the band members as saying, reports mirror.co.uk.
Organisers have invited the “Uptown Funk” hitmaker Mars to return after his rocking performance at the games last year. Those in charge have offered him the opportunity to curate the show. (IANS)
