Blood donor cheats woman

SHILLONG: A woman was allegedly cheated by a blood donor after the latter took money from her with the false promise of provide blood to her ailing daughter on Friday. According to police at around 9 am, one unidentified person cheated the 58-year-old woman of Rs.2,000 near the Addl. Secretariat, Shillong, on the pretext of donating blood for her ailing daughter who was admitted at Ganesh Das Hospital.
