House of Manipur militant torched

Imphal: The residence house of ‘president’ of outlawed Zomi reunification Organisation (ZRO) at Churachandpur town of Manipur was torched by local women on Saturday.
Police said president Thanglianpao Guite’s house was reduced to ashes and investigation into the matter is on.
The motive for torching the house was yet to be ascertained.
ZRO is one of the militant outfits which came under tripartite Suspension of Operation for peace talks between Centre, Manipur government and Kuki National Organisation and United People Front. (PTI)
