Shillong Fashion Week from Oct 5

SHILLONG: With an aim to boost trade and commerce revolving around sericulture, the Shillong Fashion Week will be organised from October 5-9 at NEHU Convocation Hall.
The Shillong Fashion Week is an initiative of Chief Minister Mukul Sangma focused at giving a boost to the textile industry in the Northeast.
The show will also be a platform for upcoming models and designers to showcase their talents and credentials.
The Fashion Week will host an array of 14 designers from across the Northeast focusing on the different fabrics of the region.
To add the glamour, Rewati Chhetri, top 10 finalist of Femina Miss India, will walk & lead 79 models, the longest ever ramp in Northeast measuring 140 Feet.
