Hoping Stone last journey

SHILLONG: A state funeral will be accorded to Hoping Stone Lyngdoh, who breathed his last on September 26, at his native village, Mawkyllei, Pariong, West Khasi Hills on Tuesday.
Chief Minister Mukul  Sangma, Assembly Speaker AT Mondal, MPCC President DD  Lapang , Cabinet Ministers  Roshan Warjri  and A L  Hek, legislators and officials among others will attend the  funeral of Lyngdoh,. At 11 am, a short service will be held at the parental home of late Lyngdoh at 11 am. At  12. 30 pm, the official state honours will accorded at the Darbar Hall and ground of Lyngdoh Nonglait. Thereafter, the mortal remains of the legislator will be taken to the church followed by a short service at the burial ground.
