BJP blows Meghalaya poll bugle

SHILLONG: The BJP national spokesperson and in-charge Meghalaya Nalin Kohli has asked the state party functionaries to be united to put up a good show in the Assembly polls scheduled to take place in 2018 in the state.
Addressing the state party functionaries and workers on Monday, Kohli wanted to ensure the unity of the state BJP as there were questions raised against certain leaders of the party in the state.
Kohli, who left Shillong on Tuesday, also asked the party workers to ensure the victory of party candidates in the October 12 GHADC polls. The BJP has fielded six candidates for the GHADC polls.
The BJP leader analyzed the strength and weakness of the party in Meghalaya and wanted the BJP leaders and workers to work hard so that there is spread of the network of the party in at the grass-root level.
