Home Alone returning to theatres for 25th anniversary
Hailed as one of the greatest Christmas family com edy, “Home Alone” will return to theatres to cel ebrate its 25th anniversary. Fathom Events and 20th Century Fox have announced that they will celebrate the 1990 holiday classic’s anniversary by screening the movie for two nights only in select theatres across US, reported Entertainment Weekly. The special presentation, airing on November 8 and 11, will also feature an exclusive introduction. Written by John Hughes and directed by Chris Columbus, Home Alone introduced the world to Macaulay Culkin as Kevin, the 8-year-old boy who, after being left behind by his family, has to defend his home against two blundering burglars (Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern). Hugh Jackman weighs in on playing James Bond
Wolverine star Hugh Jackman says he is interest ed in playing the iconic British spy, James Bond. While the 46-year-old actor said he has not been approached recently for the role, he is open to be 007 agent, reported E! Online. “I’d certainly give it a thought. I don’t think there’s an actor on the planet who wouldn’t at least say, ‘Oh, let me have a think about that.'” Jackman had earlier said that he was once offered the role, but decided against it because he was getting ready to film X-Men 2. “I’d seriously consider it. Just before Daniel (Craig) took over… At the time I was just about to do X-Men 2 and I was like ‘I don’t think it’s the right time’ – but it was not an easy one for me to give up.” (PTI)
Caitlyn Jenner’s ex still adjusting to her gender transition
Reality TV personality Caitlyn Jenner’s former wife Linda Thompson says she still sometimes finds her ex husband’s gender transition an adjustment. Thompson, who has sons Brody and Brandon Jenner with Caitlyn, earlier known as Bruce, said while she is supportive of the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star, she sometimes struggle with the fact that her former husband is now a “beautiful woman”, reported Female First. “I have to be honest and say it’s strange for me to see this beautiful woman, and look in her eyes, and think, ‘That’s the father of my children. That being said, I’m totally supportive of her and always have been,” she said. Thompson, who divorced Caitlyn in 1986, revealed that the reality TV star, formerly known as Bruce, told her over 30 years ago about her struggles with her gender. She is relieved that Caitlyn can finally be herself. “I felt terrible for her 30 years ago that she couldn’t really fully express who she really was. (PTI)

Television personality Paris Hilton reportedly wants to “settle down” and marry her Swiss business man boyfriend Thomas Gross. The 34-year-old “Simple Life” star is ready to spend the rest of her life with the Swiss businessman, who she met in Ibiza earlier this year, reported Female First. “Paris wants to walk down the aisle sometime next year. She’s turning 35 and she’s ready to settle down,” a source said. Hilton’s mind turned to marriage after she attended her sister Nicky’s “perfect” nuptials to James Rothschild earlier this year. “Even since her sister, Nicky, got married, people have been asking Paris when she’s going to get engaged… Nicky is planning to have kids soon, and Paris loves the idea of them being pregnant at the same time,” the source added.
