Shillong: The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), West Jaintia Hills District has informed that the State Government through the Office of the Deputy Commissioner (Supply) and Sub- Divisional Officer (Supply) has decided that one more round of claims and objections will be carried out for the list of the beneficiaries identified under the National Food Security Act, 2015.
The list of beneficiaries under the Act will be displayed in the DC (Supply) office and SDO (Supply), Block Development Offices, all fair shops and other prominent places in the district. Any claim and objection with regards to the list shall be made from September 28 to October 7. Disposal of claims and objection will be from October 8 to 16. The final list of beneficiaries under the Act shall be prepared by October 19 and the same shall be intimated to the State Government on October 21.
