Shillong: The Department of Tourism and Hotel Management, NEHU organized an event to mark the celebration of World Tourism Day.
On this occasion Prof. S.K. Srivastava, Vice Chancellor was the chief guest.
A presentation was made to understand the immense potential of tourism to drive inclusive economic growth, protect the environment and to promote sustainable development for all to turn the power of one billion into a genuine force for the tourism promotion.
