Johannesburg: Australia’s two-Test tour to Bangladesh remained on hold as players have been asked to return to their home states and rejoin the state training program following a new warning about safety concerns.
Australian team officials have also returned to their homes after meeting with senior security and intelligence figures. The U S Embassy in Dhaka has advised the Australians not to visit the country, saying that they possess reliable new information regarding a looming militant strike against the tourists. (ANI)
