Chelsea suffer 1-2 defeat against Porto, Arsenal on brink of Champions League exit

Johannesburg: Two late goals from Sergi Roberto and Luis Suarez helped Barcelona to claim a 2-1 win over Bayer Leverkusen in their second match of the Champions League.
The German side took a surprise lead in the first half when Leverkusen defender Kyriakos Papadopoulos scored a goal in the 22nd minute of the match, Sport24reported.
But, midfielder Roberto scored an opener for his side in the 80th minute followed by Saurez match-winning goal just two minute later.
Barca are currently at the top in Group E in the Champions League table, having four points from two games. They will next lock horns with BATE on October 21.
Meanwhile, Chelsea suffered a shocking 1-2 defeat against Jose Mourinho’s former club Porto in their Group G Champions League clash on Tuesday.
Porto took a lead in 39th minute when midfielder Andre Andre scored, Sport24 reported.
Chelsea midfielder Willian equalized the score with superb free kick at half time.
But just seven minute after the Chelsea opener, Porto central defender Maicon Pereira Roque scored a match-winning goal for his side.
Jose Mourinho side made several efforts to extend their score but failed.
Porto are currently at the top in Group G of the Champions League table, having four points from two games.
Chelsea have three points and are in the 3rd position. They will now play against Dynamo Kyiv on October 21.
Arsenal suffered their second consecutive defeat in the ongoing Champions League as Olympiacos clinched a 3-2 triumph over the former at Emirates Stadium on Tuesday.
Winger Felipe Pardo put his side ahead in the 33rd minute, but Arsenal forward Theo Walcott equalized the score just two minutes later, Sport24 reported.
Arsenal’s David Ospina dropped Kostas Fortounis’s corner into his own net to extend Olympiacos’ lead in the 40th minute.
Arsene Wenger side dragged back into it with a second half equalizer by Alexis Sanchez, but the Greek side claimed victory when Alfred Finnbogason smacked the match-winning goal. Arsenal will next lock horns against Bayern Munich , who have also claimed an easy 5-0 win over Dinamo Zagreb in their previous Champions League clash . (ANI)
