SHILLONG: The body of a woman was recovered in the city on Thursday morning.
Police said the body belonging to Cynthia Syiemlieh (50) was found with abrasion marks on her left cheek inside her residence at Madanrting Block-E, Shillong.
Necessary formalities were observed and the cadaver was sent to Shillong Civil Hospital for post-mortem examination.
