Minor run over by tourist vehicle

NONGPOH: A 10-year-old boy was seriously injured when he was run over by a tourist Sumo near MeECL office here on Friday afternoon.
According to police, the incident occurred when the boy, identified as Rilchuson B. Sangma (10), was ran over by the vehicle (ML 08 D-4600), while he was crossing the National Highway.
Te boy received serious injuries and was referred to Woodland Hospital, Shillong.
Police arrested the driver of the tourist vehicle, Sandip M Marak.
