SHILLONG: Despite police advisories, people are falling prey to miscreants who dupe them over the phone. According to police, on October 6 one Ganesh Thakur received a call wherein the caller informed him of a problem in his SBI ATM card and asked for his ATM details. Later, he received an SMS informing that Rs. 39,997 has been withdrawn from his account.
