Johnny Depp does not wish to win Oscar ever
Every actor aspires to win the Oscar trophy someday, but Hollywood star Johnny Depp is not interested in winning the top showbiz award. The 52-year-old American actor, who is receiving a lot of critical praise for his portrayal of Boston gangster Whitey Bulger in “Black Mass”, says he is not in competition with anybody, reported a website. “I don’t want to win one of those things, ever, you know. I don’t want to have to talk. They gave me one of those things, like a nomination, two or three times. A nomination is plenty. “The idea of winning means that you’re in competition with someone, and I’m not in competition with anybody. I just stick to my guns and do what I want to do. Sometimes people don’t like it, but that’s all right,” Depp said. Apart from Oscar, the other thing that the “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” is allergic to is, “comeback”. “What did I come back from? The dead? I haven’t done anything different in this than I have in any other film,” he said. (PTI)
Charlie Sheen thrown out of bar
Actor Charlie Sheen was thrown out of a bar in a headlock after damaging a woman’s phone when he knocked it out of her hand because she was filming him. The Anger Management actor paid a visit to Hennessey’s Tavern in Dana Point, California, following a day’s fishing at the weekend and though he was happy to pose for pictures with fans, the evening took a sour turn when a woman tried to film him on her cellphone, reported a website. Sheen, 50, slapped the device out of her hand, damaging it so was removed from the bar by security staff. The actor is known for his love of a good night out and earlier this year, he showed his generous side when he left a USD 1,400 tip on a USD 629 restaurant bill while dining out with his dentist, Dr Kevin Sands, and close friends Jon Lovitz and Darius McCrary at Cafe Roma in Beverly Hills. Britney Spears buys new mansion worth USD 7.4 million
Pop star Britney Spears has slashed out USD 7.4 mil lion to buy a big estate in Thousand Oaks, Califor nia. The hill top property bought buy, 33-year-old “Toxic” hitmaker stretches upto the area of 13,264 square feet, reported a website. With five bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms, the mansion has wall-to-wall carpeting, 35-foot high ceiling, and a fireplace flanked by built-in media cabinets. The property also includes formal living and dining rooms and an oak-paneled library with built-in bookshelves. The kitchen in the mansion has all the equipments and facilities a private chef would require. It leads to an open informal dining area with bay window and another fireplace. There’s a huge media/game room on the upper level of the main residence plus an approximately 1,200-square-foot poolside pavilion and 3,500-bottle temperature controlled wine cellar. (PTI)

Reality TV star Kylie Jenner, who has just moved out of her family home to her own mansion in Calaba sas, California, says that she was excited to move out of her mother’s house but now that she has shifted, it isn’t exciting anymore. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star shared that it takes a lot of work to “make a house a home”, reports a website. “I was so excited to move out of my mom’s house for so long, but now that it’s here, it’s honestly not as exciting as I expected it to be,” Jenner said in a video posted by on her website. “But the sense of independence is an awesome feeling. I love that now I go grocery shopping and everything I buy goes into my refrigerator and it’s for me; it doesn’t just disappear because someone else thought it looked good,” she added. The 18-year-old, who is dating “Rack city” hitmaker Tyga, 25, also showed off the master bedroom in a video posted on her website. (IANS)
